Anyone going?

Once again I have been defeated in attendance as Em has to go to an open evening at the Uni is is hoping to attend come September.

Unsurprisingly numbers and games have begun to drop of steeply, but there are only 4 weeks to go and over half the league haven't played their minimum number of games (me included).

Unfortunately the thumb print on my forehead, that has been very undefined of late, has just become very, very noticable. My girlfriend has said that she is seeing me tonight, and I do not have much choice. It may be because I have been away all weekend Larping and that I have not seen her for almost two weeks.

Sorry Dave, if it wasn't for that I would be down to hand my butt to you on a plate.

I can happily go along but it does indeed seem to be the same old stalwarts.

Dan has finished playing games I think as he has played 12
Helen? Has she given up for the season or does she intend to play her last few games?
Rob Leake is in the midst of moving house and is about to become a father again, next season I think he would be happy to play.
Stewie has dropped of the face of the earth, I haven't seen him in months.
Haven't seen Excitable at the pub for ages
The Horn is playing but does stuff on Tuesdays afaik.

Anyways.

I can go along, but I have played a lot of games and don't really have that many opponents left.

I will be posting a separate thread about the next league soon.

Basically 20 weeks is way too long for the number of players which actually played. As of week 16 we have 12 coaches, only 50% of which have managed the 8 requisite games to qualify. However we have had 47 matches played, not including the Cup games, which is impressive.

Interest soon wanes for a variety of reasons as we all know, so if there is another league it will need to be shorter.

It will probably start after the Albion Coast Cup, when interest is hopefully peaked again.

Anyhow, I will discuss all these on a separate thread later.
